Hōgon-in (宝厳院), a sub-temple of the Rinzai Zen head temple Tenryū-ji (天龍寺), is now conducting the Autumn Special Viewing open to the public.
The temple is very famous for its spectacular autumn foliage which is truly worth to see. Please visit there during your stay in Kyoto.
Date: Saturday, October 6 - Sunday, December 9 Time: 9:00am - 5:00pm
Admission fee: 500 yen
*Extra 500yen required for viewing the Fusumae (paintings on the sliding doors) at the main hall.
Access: 15 mins. on foot from Saga-Arashiyama station, JR line Arashiyama-Tenryu-ji Mae
