Hirano Shrine (平野神社) is the most renowned spot in Kyoto for cherry blossom viewing. Celebrating the season of full blossom, the shrine conducts illumination event at night. On the premises, approximately 400 cherry trees of 50 breeds,such as Ohto (桜桃), Sakigakezakura (さきがけ桜), Yamazakura (山桜), Someiyoshino (染井吉野), and Satozakura (さと桜), will be in bloom. Other than the illumination, various kind of events, such as Sakura concert, are to be held during the season. Please try YUMEYAKATA kimono, and enjoy the cherry blossom in the night light.
